Biography:
Lauren first came to Waco in 2013 to begin college at Baylor University. Throughout her undergraduate years, Lauren experienced Piper as both a lab student and student assistant. She says Piper largely shaped her understanding and personal philosophy of early childhood education. Lauren has worked with children and families in a variety of settings over the last few years and feels blessed to call Waco and Piper home again!
Lauren believes all children are unique, creative, and capable. She values building meaningful relationships and watching children’s personalities form. She respects each child’s strengths and interests and loves encouraging discovery through play.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, going to concerts, and traveling to visit family and friends.
