Biography:
Cate moved to Waco in 2017 to begin her studies at Baylor University. As a Child and Family Studies student, she had the opportunity to observe classrooms at Piper. While doing so, Cate fell in love with Piper’s intentionality to provide caring, stimulating environments for children to develop in socioemotionally, cognitively, and physically.
Cate is passionate about helping children feel valued and safe. She believes that when they feel this way, children can learn most effectively. Cate especially enjoys equipping children to explore their surroundings and communicate their feelings.
In her spare time, Cate can be found at local coffee shops, thrifting, and exploring Waco!
